15 FEB - Greta takes me to dinner

I had a lovely evening with Greta and her parents. She told me all about how she enjoys telling stories that she makes up. She also explained how she gets upset because her dad won't share his steak with her at dinner.

We went to dinner at Molly Malone's which is a nice local Irish pub with pretty good fish and chips. Greta stuck to milk. After dinner, Ella brought her mom and dad, Brent and Janet, by for a beer. It was nice to see them since I hadn't seen them in a while. Ella was a little more tired that Greta though. She has the funny way of going to sleep. She buries right into Janet's shoulder.

Greta knows beer is good.

Ella demonstrates how to propertly wear a floppy bunny ears hat.

Brent just doesn't have the cute factor but he has a good smile.

It's a little fuzzy but I thought this was a good shot of Greta giggling while she was wearing the floppy bunny ears hat.

02 FEB - Wicked Wicked Wicked

Today, I went and saw Wicked with Colleen and friends here in Cincinnati. It is a great show. The woman that played Glinda the Good was awesome. She was very Molly Shannon-esque and she had the crowd rolling. I must have been really tired because I would drift-off during the slower parts.

Before we went to the show though, we went to Nicholson's pub for lunch. The fish and chips there are awesome.

I thought this picture was pretty funny. The doors for the show opened only 20 minutes before the show started and it was a mob to get into the place. The Wicked merchies got mobbed too as you can see.

After the show, we went to Graeter's which is a local ice cream shop with some of the best ice cream that I have ever had.

01 FEB - Busy day and week

This week was a lot busier than I expected. Bowling, beer tapping, lunches, MORE bowling. Tomorrow I am going to see Wicked with Colleen and her group of yahoos from Madison.

Tonight though, my friend Josh called me to see if I wanted to go bowling. Well, of COURSE, I want to go bowling. Josh said his wife told him to go "run some stink off" as my Dad used to say. I hate to say that I creamed Josh the first 3 games. I got on a roll and I was rolling an average 190. I was pretty excited. We rolled 5. On the last 2 games we used handicapped scores and rolled for lunch. We ended even.

01 FEB - Red Shirt lunch for Sabrina

Today was our friend Sabrina's last day in the office for a while. She is going on maternity leave an will have her baby next week. Today also happened to be Red Shirt day for awarenes of women's heart disease.

31 JAN - Give Back Cincinnati taps with Christian Morlein

Christian Morlein partnered with Give Back Cincinnati to tap their new beer, Emancipator Doppel Bock. The original plan was to go to the pub, have a couple of beers and then head home. I didn't realize that this was going to last all evening. It was a great night though. The beer was good and I got to visit with some friends that I hadn't seen in a while.

Dana shows her beer handling skills here.

Greg and I ham it up for the camera.
